Maritza Mata, MPA
I joined the Vida Counseling team in May 2021 as Vida’s Practice Care Coodinator. I have the pleasure of working with our excellent clinicians and welcoming clients by facilitating the scheduling process. The first step to seek therapy can be intimidating, and it’s my job to make everyone feel welcomed and safe.
I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Master of Public Administration and from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I’m currently working on a Master of Education in School Counseling to become a school counselor and work towards equitable educational opportunities for all North Carolinians. During my free time, I like to read, travel and go hiking.
